Primary Teacher

A smaller than average primary school in the historical county of Suffolk are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher from January 2015. This post is for a Year 2 teacher and whilst initially this is a temporary post it has the possibility of becoming permanent.

The school offers pupils a wide range of opportunities and a stimulating environment where they feel secure and able to develop to their full potential. The school was awarded a Grade 3 in it's most recent Ofsted inspection. The report states that under the leadership of a new headteacher and a team of committed and experienced staff, the school is now in a more secure position, particularly in relation to behaviour and attendance.

There are 180 pupils aged between 4-11 of mixed gender on the teaching roll. The school offers a wide variety of extra curricular clubs such as art, music and sports.

Stansted Airport is within an hour's drive of the school and there are good local transport links with several train stations within 10 miles.

To be eligible to apply for this position you are required to be a qualified or newly qualified teacher.
