Job Title: Match Day Supervisor

VSG is the fourth largest provider of contracted security services in the UK & Ireland, and is continuing to experience incredible growth in all the sectors within which it operates. This business includes managing the match day security for a current client.

The planning and execution of this work is a crucial part of the role of security for the stadium and the affiliated services provided at off-site locations for car parking.

We are looking to recruit a Supervisor with a proven track record in the management of security operations for large scale public events. It is essential this person has a calm demeanour, well developed interpersonal skills, a real eye for detail, who can liaise directly with our clients and internal stake holders, to provide assurances that all aspects of the security operation have been achieved at each match day.

A flexible approach to working, attendance at pre-match meetings, and the ability to maintain a high quality of work under pressure is essential as is the need to maintain good organisation and a well structured approach to the daily challenges of a fast moving major public event. IT literacy with a working knowledge of Outlook, Word PowerPoint, and Excel is essential, as is an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Responsibilities include:

• Attending the client pre-match meeting 1 day before the match day

• Coordinating the advance planning, arrival and deployment of a team of 25 people at multiple locations

• Monitor the quality of services provided at car parks, stadium, and Family Park locations

• Provide all security staff with personal brief and paperwork for data collation

• Attending a 2 hour briefing to provide the senior client with confirmation of compliance

• Producing a comprehensive match day report within 4 hours of the match completion for the client

• Escalation and handling of any major incidents.
