Perhaps you’ve never considered working in a prison before, but if you’re prepared to have your preconceptions challenged, this could be an interesting and rewarding opportunity.

We are looking for skilled Caterers to work inside five London prisons, preparing, cooking and serving food for prisoners with a range of specialist diets. Demonstrating professionalism and good communication skills, you will help to coordinate resources to reduce waste, order goods and check standards. Importantly, these roles will also involve selecting and training prisoners for kitchen duties; then offering guidance and support whilst ensuring that security and high standard of service is maintained at all times.

To be considered you’ll need a level 2 Certificate in Food Production within Hospitality and Catering (or equivalent qualification) A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is also required.   The successful candidates will have experience of working within an industrial kitchen environment and will be familiar with all current health, safety and hygiene regulations for working in a busy commercial kitchen.
