General Science Teacher required, Luton

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of Science to join a very experienced team of teachers in Luton. The successful candidate will take a lead in developing the Science curriculum. It is a long-term, full time role that will begin in January.

The selected candidate will work with a team of committed teachers who are working hard, collaboratively to raise standards to a high level by providing an appropriate curriculum at both Key Stages. This is a challenging opportunity for an outstanding Teacher who has a successful background in Science and can develop the curriculum to become an exciting and rewarding experience at GCSE level.

Key Responsibilities of the job include:

  • Planning & delivering lessons across the curriculum to pupils.
  • Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning.
  • Assessing & reviewing student development.
  • Utilising modern technology in the classroom.
  • Motivating students to achieve their full potential & engage in extracurricular activities

Applicants must have:

  • UK QTS
  • CV covering the CV covering the their last 2 years of employment
  • DBS Disclosure
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
