This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference. The Dementia Support Manager will work in the community with carers and people with dementia and develop existing dementia services including support groups.
Dementia Support Manager
Location: Southport - Covering the Merseyside & IOM area
Salary: £20,682 actual per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract type: Permanent
Our client is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There will be 850,000 people with dementia in the UK by 2015 with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.
They are looking for a well-motivated and creative person with excellent communication skills and an understanding of dementia, to work within a small but busy environment. Experience in the voluntary sector is desirable.
