Teaching Assistant for Pupil referral Unit

The Manchester SEN team require a Teaching Assistant for an outstanding pupil referral unit in South Manchester, this is an alternative educational provision for key stage 3 and 4 pupils. Individual academic studies include Maths, English and ICT. The young people are also offered a variety of informal education options including vocational studies and enrichment activities.

The provision is looking for someone who has experience of supporting disaffected young people. Your experience may have come from an educational, residential or youth background. The key for this provision is to engage and support young people in making good choices and prepare them for future education and job prospects.
