The Client
This is an excellent opportunity to join a world leading manufacturer and supplier of products to global retail outlets. They are currently recruiting for a Technician to join their Engineering team.

The Role
The Mechanical Design Technician will have a wide ranging role including: 

•    Liaise with customers with regards to customer requests being actioned in an accurate and timely manner
•    Processing Customer Requests using online purchasing system
•    Using mechanical skills and knowledge to build or modify components
•    Raising Material Requisitions for ‘non-inventory parts’
•    Clarifying technical requirements with Sales & Service departments
•    Using Windchill and/or CREO for the design and modification of mechanical components

The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to have a relevant qualification at HND level or above with experience of designing mechanical components using Windchill or CREO. Additionally, some ‘hands on’ experience of building and modifying mechanical components and excellent IT skills are required.
