Long term contract / Assistant Accountant - Accounts Payable Analyst / Bi-lingual Dutch / Excellent Opportunity

One of the largest companies in the world has a new vacancy. We are seeking a bi-lingual Dutch speaker who has previously worked in an accounts payable position to join the busy accounts team of an international telecommunications company.  This is an interesting long term vacancy for a part qualified accountant who is bi-lingual to perform the role of accounts payable analyst for a dedicated region.  You must have at least 6 months experience working with ledgers and should be able to perform bank reconciliations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Matching of invoices to orders
  • Credit notes
  • Review month end reports with team leader
  • Checking VAT compliance
  • Ensure payment runs are made in a timely manner
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Supplier Account Reconciliations
  • Ensuring intercompany invoices are processed correctly

Other requirements

  • Must be native Dutch Speaker and preferably will have worked in accounts payable or similar before so that you can demonstrate you understand how Danish company accounts department work
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and able to commit for a minimum of 12 months
