Senior Social Worker

A Senior Social Worker is sought to join this nationwide charity, based in Bristol, to recruit the ideal people to become foster carers and to offer them the best support possible in looking after children.

This organisation has 145 years of experience as a large children's charity, who are focussed on achieving excellent results for children and not shareholders. They are a not for profit organisation who offer a therapeutic approach when placing foster carers and children together.

They are now looking for a Senior Social Worker with previous experience, to uphold the excellent reputation they have made for themselves in keeping children at the heart of their decision making.

TITLE: Senior Social Worker
LOCATION: Bristol
SALARY: £29,039 to £32,201 per annum
BENEFITS: Out-of-hours one off annual payment of £700, Pension Scheme, Health Shield

To succeed in this role as a Senior Social Worker you will be expected to:
*Successfully recruit and assess foster carers
*Provide effective supervision to foster carers
*Provide compelling training to foster carers
*Take responsibility for a key area across the West of England
*Participate in an Out of Hours rota

The ideal Senior Social Worker will possess:
*A registered Social Worker qualification
*Sufficient Social Work experience
*Self-motivation and a passion to achieve the best outcomes for the children the organisation works with
*A caring manner which will reflect positively on both the foster carers and the children
