Avanade UK is looking to hire a Change Enablement Consultant to join our Collaboration practice.

Change Enablement covers the life cycle of a change program and includes the following core offerings:

  • Change Strategy - Bringing proven change architectures and best practices to help clients navigate change.
  • Organisation Change Enablement - Enabling clients to manage their organisational change efforts, such as the transition to outsourcing, and system and process change. Specifically supporting three sub-offerings:

- Change Management: enabling clients to manage organisational change efforts related to SharePoint projects.

- Journey Management: defines and manages the organisation's overall journey , which involves integrating the journey and its programs to the organisation's strategy, vision, and aspirations or North Star, which includes what is critical to the organisation, and defines both the short- and long-term view for it.

- Learning & Readiness: supports the creation and delivery of information to ensure proper solution awareness and adoption to all end users. Avanade carries a Gold Competency and Learning Partnership with Microsoft, where we design and deliver Microsoft Official content to IT professionals.

Change Enablement Consultant has the following responsibilities:

  • Execute Work Plan generation and implementation.
  • Execute Status Report generation.
  • Determine Work Plan approach through estimates, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of organisational training programs.
  • Identify assignments and goals on work plan.
  • Identify, track, and escalate issues in a timely fashion (issue log).
  • Awareness of common risks on a project and their potential impacts.
  • Business Acumen

- Solution Delivery, Quality and Methodology.

- Communication - team, client, and other groups.

- Leading Yourself, Others and the Organisation.

  • Ensure that the end product fulfils the contract and meets the sponsor's expectations.
  • As well as other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will h ave knowledge and some experience with:

1. Change Strategy

- Application of the change architectures, models, and frameworks used to execute multi-workforce, cross-generational, or multi-cultural, complex change successfully.

- Assist client executives communicate frameworks, cultural norms, and stakeholder engagement practice.

2. Organisation Change Enablement

- Approach Change Management as a "Science" instead of an "Art" by using data-driven and predictable methodology.

- Create and utilise methods, estimators, and frameworks that integrate tightly with the broader project.

- Plan and drive stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, impact analysis, learning/training, communications, business readiness, deployment, and adoption measurement.

3. IT Delivery Experience

- Large-scale SharePoint, or other technology, based Collaboration programmes.

- Understand the business impact of migrating to or deploying SharePoint within the enterprise.

4. Business Analysis Experience

- Experience with eliciting, elaborating, verifying, documenting and managing business requirements.

- Understand the importance of viewing change holistically across the Organisation, its People, Its Processes and its Technology.

- Developing the business case for change and understanding how business and system requirement deliver business value.

- Working alongside IT development teams and System Analysts to ensure consistent communications and alignment between business change and IT activities.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills/Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Microsoft SharePoint.
  • IT Service Readiness and Operational Acceptance.
  • Work Planning and Time Management of project deliverables.
  • Governance Management.
  • Scope and Requirements Management.
  • Performance and Reporting Management.
  • Issue and Risk Management.
  • Quality Management.
  • Distributed project management, cross-cultural teaming and collaboration.
  • Organisational Training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong experience of Professional Consulting or Advisory experience.
  • Solid exposure to Microsoft SharePoint experience.
  • Solid exposure to Change Management or Organisational Development experience.
  • Experience leading projects for customers.
  • Consultancy background preferred.
  • Experience working in cross functional and complex teams.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing others.
  • B.A., B.S. and/or Organisational Advanced Degrees, engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills.
