You will play a pivotal role in delivering all IT innovations and upgrades, while leasing with the business users, project sponsors and boards with regards to project communications and issue resolutions.

Description
The successful IT Project Manager, based in Milton Keynes, will be responsible for the following:
- Co-ordinate and control all project tasks and activities to meet the project goals;
- Produce plans and documentation as required for the project in accordance with the company standards;
- Manage all internal and external resources assigned to the designated projects in order to achieve the project goals;
- Define and agree business requirements and options;
- Liaise with the business users, project sponsors and boards with regard to general project communication and issue resolution.
- The applicant must be computer literate.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and systems is essential
- Knowledge of JDA (RedPrairie) applications is desirable
- The ability to manage and deliver change.
- Self-motivation is vital as some periods will be spent unsupervised.
- The ability to prioritise and react to changing demands, whilst meeting agreed deadlines
Profile
The applicant must have a proven track record in successfully implementing medium/large scale IT related projects to demanding timescales
Demonstrable experience in the following:-
- IT project life cycle principles;
- Requirements analysis and definition;
- Good commercial awareness and budget management skills
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Extensive travel can be expected, nights away from home and during periods of go live periods.
Job Offer
GBP40,000 to GBP50,000 plus great benefits
