Summary
I am seeking a highly skilled Senior developer (.NET ) with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external- facing web applications.

Description
The Senior Developer will be required to work together with team leads to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
The Senior Developer will be required to:
- Build new systems with .NET 4.0/ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#/SQL Server 2008/WCF Web Services/WCF Data Services
- Lead/mentor developers
- Participate in rapid, agile development schedule.
- Manage and plan development resources
- Create technical specifications and software development standards and work packages
- Own and maintain a Corporate Software Development Lifecycle
- Track software bugs/issues and maintain a full software test strategy
- Review product requirements in order to give development estimates and product feedback
Profile
The right candidate for the Senior Developer role will require the following skills:
- Demonstrable experience of developing Windows based Client Server or distributed software solutions to consistent quality standards ASP.NET and either C# or VB.NET SQL Server
- Demonstrable experience in .NET Framework and C#/ASP.NET development
- Proven ability in Front End GUI design and development
- Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures and database objects
- Thorough understanding of CSS
- Demonstrable experience working on Multitier architectures
- Perform code reviews of fellow developers and team
- Solid understanding of the full development life cycle
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Champion of agile engineering practices
- Good understanding of design patterns and their application
- Experienced of software testing methodologies and unit testing frameworks
- eCommerce software development and/or related software experience with a large project strongly preferred.
- Experience solving complex and large-scale software problems.
- A record successful delivery of software systems as an individual, team leader and or/development manager.
