Due to continued expansion we have the following position available:

IT Support Technician

Working in an education and care environment the role will include:

  • Supporting desktop, laptop, iPads, server administration, Windows 7/8, MS Office, IIS, troubleshooting, Microsoft office, iPhone, routers, Switches and networks. Whilst providing support and training to staff and young people.
  • The IT Support Technician will be involved in supporting the internal systems and software
  • You must have good people skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • You will have proven experience of working in an IT support environment
  • You will have experience of managing desktops and laptops - administration, builds, configuration and troubleshooting in mixed Windows 7/8, Microsoft Office
  • You may be Microsoft certified
  • You must have experience of supporting remote users and multiple business applications including in-house and 3rd parties
  • You will ideally have experience of iPhone/iPad device support and management
  • You will ideally have experience in the configuration and maintenance of MDM and eMail systems
  • The successful candidate may also have experience of Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, monitoring back-ups, windows updates, anti-virus and file restores
  • You will enjoy troubleshooting (remotely and hands-on) and solving problems
  • Application installation and builds will also fall into your responsibility
  • Experience in Routers, Firewalls, Switches and networking would be desirable

Driving license is essential as the role involves supporting various sites within the group although you will operate out of one; our Hall Cliffe School in Horbury.
