ID Medical is currently seeking experienced Senior House Officer's in Surgery for immediate placement in Plymouth. We have multiple roles available with part and full time hours available.
Position: Locum
Job title: SHO - Surgeon
Location: Plymouth
Salary: 40 - 50
Start Date: ASAP
A passion for working in a fast paced, dynamic environment needs to be evident. This department is diverse, showing the need for a candidate who shows initiative and demonstrates clear decision making. The Surgery department need unique staff who are able to adapt to the evolving requirements. Providing a high quality and reliable work ethic are valued factors within Surgery.
Core duties would include:
* Be part of a team responsible for providing appropriate cover to patients in the first 48 hours in the critical care area.
* Have a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and the functioning of the department.
* Undertake administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of a clinical department.
* Providing diagnosis and treatment for all categories of patient in the department.
* To actively participate in staff meetings, forums and development programmes in order to support development of service and maintenance of high quality care.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 Years' NHS experience
* Valid GMC registration
* Current CRB/DBS
