Relief Security Officers - Brighton

Corps Security is currently recruiting for relief security officers in various areas across the UK, working for one of our prestigious clients. Opportunities are currently available in the Brighton and surrounding areas.

The successful applicants' main job purpose is to provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and Corps Security's policies and procedures.

As a relief security officer you will be trained and required to work at a number of our clients sites to assist us with holiday and sickness cover, with a view to being allocated a fixed shift pattern, when the opportunities arise.

This role is to liaise on a daily basis with staff, the client and operational management teams to support the fulfilment of the contracted/business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and support duties. This role is hands on and will require involvement in issues on an hourly/daily basis.


The role is shift based, including Days, Nights, Weekends. 12 hours per shift, with an hourly pay rate that exceeds minimum wage and regular overtime available. Pay rate is dependent upon the site, however will be from GBP7-GBP8 per hour.

• Must hold a current and valid SIA licence
• Excellent communication skills, and a strong customer focus.
• Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office).
• Must have own transport due to start times and locations.
• 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards.
