Head of PR - B2B Marketing Agency
Salary: 45-60,000
Location: Manchester
One of the leading B2B Marketing Agencies in the UK currently has an opportunity for a talented and ambitious Head of PR to join them in their Manchester office.
This high profile agency is well renowned in the industry and working with some highly credible clients. The successful candidate will be an established PR Director or Senior Account Director with a real passion for PR who wants to help shape the strategic direction of the agencies PR team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and planning creative communication strategies which fully reflect client objectives
- Managing on and off-line media ensuring coverage and opportunities are capitalised upon and results presented back to the client
- Creating long-standing relationships with key journalists in order to maximise opportunities for client coverage
- Establishing solid, successful relationships at multiple levels within the client
- Growing and developing accounts with both new and existing clients
- Maintaining profitability across all accounts through effective service levels
- Managing new business leads from qualification through to conversion
- Effectively line managing and motivating team members
The overall requirement is for somebody who is dynamic and can drive forward the PR offering for the agency. Initially it would be a slightly combined role of picking up some Account Director duties but the main requirement is to be able to drive this part of the business forward. You will need to have a good handle on strategy and can input with the management team to develop the overall growth plan.
