Children's Social Worker - Gateshead
CRG Social Care are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a busy Children Disabilities team. You will need to have experience of holding your own caseload of CIN, Child protection and Looked After cases and be able to progress and support the team. You must be able to evidence that you have previously worked within statutory frameworks, and have a clear and concise understanding of Safeguarding as this experience is paramount to the role.
It is imperative that you maintain management information systems, providing regular reports, identifying trends and proposing solutions where problems occur.
Developing and maintaining effective liaison and co-operation with the local community, community groups, other Authorities, agencies and non-statutory organisations is very important as inter-agency working specifically with Education, the Health Authority, Housing, Probation Service and other statutory/voluntary organisations is such a big part of ensuring that the Children's best interests are being catered for.

Requirements:
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered with HCPC certification; and be eligible to work in the UK.
