Quant / Quantitative Analyst - Hedge fund - London - >£100k + huge benefits
You will be working for the direct research arm one of the world’s leading Hedge Funds within their Quant Analyst team. You’ll be analysing huge noise data sets for use within cutting edge real-time algorithmic trading and working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
They offer a great working environment, more relaxed, sociable and energetic than you would usually associate with financial institutions.
To be a successful quant analyst you will have a very strong Mathematics and Statistical background and will be comfortable with methods such as Markov, Bayesian and Approximate Inference. Along with a PhD and a 1st class Bachelors / Master’s degree from a top class institution in Mathematics, Statistics or related subject. Ideally you will have some previous Quant Analyst experience or research into large data sets, but exceptional Graduates will be considered.
Ideally you will have some solid software skills which may include .NET, C++, MatLab, Maple, Fortran or R but not necessary.
