Business Analyst

Our Client provides the energy data management and process solutions.  Due to expansion they are looking for a Business Analyst.

Description of Responsibilities

Utilising detailed knowledge of the data management and business processes of participants in the UK energy retail and wholesale industry, the key responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include;

• Documentation
• Producing Functional specifications
• Liaison with development teams
• User training
• Interpreting industry requirements for both sales and technical/development staff
• Identifying enhancements for existing solutions
• Identifying new opportunities resulting from industry process, and business requirement changes
• Educating and supporting existing and potential customers, both in support of sales and/or in the delivery of training, implementation and product support.
• The Business Analyst should maintain and expand their industry knowledge ensuring it remains consistent with the latest industry baseline and cognisant of forthcoming industry change.
• Project Responsibilities

Key Skills

• Experience of working in the UK Energy or Utilities sector.
• Highly desirable is experience specifically in supplier and metering agent roles.
• Experience of working with IT development teams.
• Experience in producing detailed requirements documentation for development and test teams to work from.
• Experience in change management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving, organisations and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise way.
