Our client is a well established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to young people with learning disabilities and their families in north London.Working closely with the Supporting Parents Project Manager, this varied and rewarding post is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their group work skills with parents of children with special educational needs or disability in a busy local charity. They are looking for an experienced group work facilitator, with an understanding of group dynamics, facilitation and of planning information service for parents / carers & professionals. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, organised, creative and engaging person with the ability to communicate, engage and motivate parent carers.

Candidate Will need to be able to Demonstrate:

• Experience of facilitating and delivering group work to parents
• Ability to organise and manage information events
• Ability to build professional networks
• An understanding of SEN and how disability can effect families

Our client is committed to staff development and supervision and will provide relevant training and support where required.
