Associate Assessor (Brickwork)

Due to a large increase in Brickwork students at City College Southampton, we require an Assessor for Brickwork to cover South Hampshire and the Southern Counties.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate level 3 qualifications as a minimum with both extensive experience and knowledge of the industry. To fulfil this role you will also require an assessor's qualification (although training may be given to achieve this).

The post will involve you liaising with our employers to identify apprentice training needs and supporting them on site and in their place of work to achieve their NVQ and related qualifications. There will be the need to work with tutors to ensure learners receive an outstanding level of teaching, learning and assessment.

For you to be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills, be self motivated, a methodical approach to work and have the ability to work as part of a team.
