Web Designer

This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and work across a wide award winning range of popular websites with a variety of day-to-day tasks. Our client is looking to take on an enthusiastic and creative web designer to help keep our portfolio of websites up-to-date.

The successful candidate will need to have a good grounding in HTML and CSS. You must understand how compliant web sites are created and to be able to hand-code designs as well as edit, amend and error-check existing content. An understanding of responsive design would be advantageous but is not essential.

Your work will include:

- Design and send company email newsletters
- Assisting departments within our business with design/artwork requests
- Literature design
- Manage display advertising campaigns
- Design and update company stationery
- Develop website layouts/concepts

Skills/Software Knowledge:

- Natural creative flair and enthusiasm for web design
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
- Adobe Dreamweaver
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise work

Ideally we are looking for a candidate with a year or two of experience who is seeking to get a foothold in the industry or improve their skill set.
