Mental Health Advocate / RPR, Salary: £17k pro rata, Part time (25.5hrs per week), Home based covering services across Bolton, Oldham, Salford and Tameside

Our client support and represent clients who are deemed to lack mental capacity in matters related to their deprivation of liberty to ensure that their interests are represented in accordance with the MCA Code of Practice and The Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Code of Practice. They require an RPR (Relevant Person Representative) to work across their services in Bolton, Salford, Oldham, Stockport & Tameside, with a willingness to cover services across the organisation. The ability to travel is essential to this post. 

This position would suit someone who has previous experience of working in an Adult Social Care, Care Work, Support Work, Health care, Mental Health, Dementia, Advocacy / Advocate, IMHA / IMCA or similar role. You will need to be committed to service excellence and to support people to have their voices heard. An understanding of the Advocacy principles and the DoLS modules is also required.
