Requirements
- A RICS or CIOB accredited degree.
- 3 year’s relevant industry experience.
- Chartered status or progressing towards membership.
- Experience working with NEC and JCT standard forms of contract.
- Preparation of specifications and schedules of work.
About The Role
Based at their Head Office in Huddersfield this is a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s Contract Administration team as a Building Surveyor supporting one of the Senior Project Managers.
You will enjoy a varied workload including undertaking property surveys (measured and attribute / condition surveys), preparation of specification and schedules of work, site inspections to monitor works being undertaken by Contractors under our direction, attending site meetings and carrying out contract administration, CDM Co-ordinator, PQS and Party Wall Surveyor duties.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Good IT proficiency especially MS Word and Excel.
- An organised and methodical approach to your work.
- Articulate communications in both written & verbal forms.
- A confident and enthusiastic manner.
- That you are a ‘self starter’ and can be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Flexibility to new/different methods of working.
Additional Information
You must have your own car and a willingness to travel.
