The Team:

We are part of a leading international technology and solutions provider to the Digital Marketing industry. We provide digital marketers with an omni-channel attribution, measurement and reporting platform, analytics tools, and consulting services. This allows advertisers to understand the true value of their marketing spend and the associated consumer journey. 

Based in Brighton, we have a friendly and welcoming culture and a great office environment, with a roof terrace, juice bar and the beach only a few minutes’ walk away.

The SQL Server DBA Role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join the growing Production Services team. The role will involve a mixture of supporting existing database applications (performance tuning, debugging, new installs) and maintenance of the production environment to provide a stable secure platform for the business.

SQL Server DBA Key duties will include:

> Monitoring and resolution of problems with the production environment, to include performance issues and data integrity problems

> Monitoring and maintenance of transactional replication

> Windows Server administration

> Windows and SQL server performance tuning

> Apply releases created by in house development teams

> Development of TSQL stored procedures

> Participate in the out of hours on call rota

> Managing Storage and Backups

Essential Skills:

> Significant troubleshooting experience on a production SQL Servers

> Strong T-SQL coding experience

> Good understanding of Analysis services, SSIS and IIS

> Performance Tuning, Query Optimization

> Significant transactional replication experience

Desirable:

> Knowledge of Linux administration and installation

> MySQL,Postgress or other open source DBMS.

> Basic network administration

You may have worked in the following capacities: SQL DBA, Senior SQL Database Engineer, SQL Database Engineer
