Management Accountant

A very exciting opportunity has arisen within a group of companies including a very successful and rapidly growing commemorative coin company and a long-established renewable energy group. They require a full time Management Accountant with previous experience to manage their accounts team.

This role is very varied and hugely rewarding. Key duties include:

- Production of monthly management accounts
- Reconciliation of balance sheet
- Daily monitoring of cash balances
- Year-end statutory accounts preparation including consolidated group accounts
- Management of two direct reports and monitoring the performance of the accounts department
- Regular reporting to company directors
- Payroll and payment run authorisation
- Overseeing all tax compliance returns required
- Company secretarial filing

The successful applicant will be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and have a proven track record in management accounting and will have a strong ability to multi task and operate to tight deadlines. They will need to be logical and a good communicator. They will also need to be proficient in:

- Sage Line 50
- Microsoft Excel
- Iris Payroll

They are based in Bournemouth town centre. The working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however you will be expected to work overtime when required. Salary will be £35,000 per annum. They also provide Private Medical Insurance and free car parking.
