Guildford Sunset Homes
GSH is a small charitable trust registered under the I & P Act 1958 of 85 social rent apartments for retired people of limited means from the local area.
Situated in Merrow which is near Guildford in Surrey this very attractive Estate comprises of 11 apartments in a converted Grade 2 listed Manor House with blocks of 4/6/8 apartments within the grounds and 2 members of staff.
The post of Trustee or Board Member is voluntary and unremunerated. The Board meets approximately 6 times a year and the management of the Estate is carried out by a local Housing Association.
The Board of Trustees is currently looking into developing more units within the Estate and so this is an exciting time to join what is a very friendly and well thought of charitable organisation.
