Job Type: Fixed Term Contract - Up to 6 Months

An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Accountant to join the biggest independent, Home Collected Credit Business in the UK.

Located within their Birstall support centre you will work closely with their Head of Finance to work on a business integration project, whilst ensuring critical BAU is managed appropriately.

Qualified Financial Accountant - Financial Accountant Role:

• Business Integration Project:
- Update and review existing financial policies for both companies.
- Draft new policies.
- Participate in systems and processes reviews.
- Liaison with external advisors.

• Assist in the transition to full FCA regime.

• Provide technical input into transition to new accounting framework (IFRS).

• Provide short term cover in areas of financial, cash flow reporting and financial control.

• Co-ordinate preparation for year end.

Qualified Financial Accountant - Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualified Financial Accountant with proven experience of dealing with year end accounts and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of IFRS adoption (desirable).

• Experience gained in a regulated environment (desirable).

• Ability to utilise advise and use initiative to identify new solutions.

• Ability to communicate at all levels and influence decision making process through clear presentation of financials.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
