This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one the of UK's largest independent laundry companies, based in Ross on Wye.
This engineering role is vitally important to keep their busy factory operational and delivering the service that their customers have come to expect of them. Their established systems and procedures have earned them a reputation for efficiency and reliability both in the UK and internationally.
As their new engineer you would be part of an experienced team having a varied role ensuring that the plant is maintained to a high standard, resolving breakdowns and making repairs quickly and efficiently.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining all mainline services and equipment
- Dealing with breakdowns and repairs
- Operating daily, weekly & monthly routines
- Starting up and closing down the plant
- Maintaining stock
- Working to a shift pattern
In order to be successful in the role the following experience/knowledge is desired:
- Experience of a similar multi-skilled engineering role
- Exposure to both electrical and mechanical environment for at least 2 years
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving and fault finding
- Positive attitude
- Working in high pressure situations
They want their new engineer to be dynamic, ambitious, prepared to get their hands dirty, and keen to prove their worth with an eye on the next step up the ladder.
Work Pattern:
4 Week rotating shift pattern - Week 1: Mon-Thurs 6am - 3.30pm & Sat 6.30am-2.30pm; Week 2: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm; Week 3: Mon-Fri 3pm-12am; Week 4: Mon-Thurs 6.15pm-3.15am & Sat 11.15am-7.15pm
Salary:
- £24,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience
- Salary to be reviewed after successful 6 month probationary period.
- Bonus: Subject to hitting target KPI's.
