They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services, including employment and welfare, training, education and money and legal advice

Their Money Advice Service provides impartial information and advice on money matters across a range of key financial topics. This innovative and exciting service supports people to make better financial decisions, improve their budgeting skills and help them to understand key aspects that affect their personal finances, including advice on Banking products; Mortgages; Savings & Pensions; Loans; Credit Cards; and Tax.

As a face to face Money Advisor, you will use your knowledge, skills and experience to help service users take appropriate action to manage their financial affairs. Effectively questioning to understand their circumstances and to ensure appropriate and accurate money advice is provided, you will resolve enquiries in a way that minimises the number of appointments required, and refer them to other sources of information, guidance or advise where appropriate. Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, you will understand, explain and translate financial jargon whilst delivering a rounded package of financial guidance and support to less financially confident consumers.

They are looking for people who ideally have experience of providing advice on money matters in a face to face role. With strong technical knowledge and understanding of benefits, tax, borrowing, insurance, pensions, savings and investments, you will have excellent questioning skills to get to the root cause of issues. Strong influencing and communication skills are key, as is the ability to remain focused, enthusiastic and flexible whilst working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

This is a regional based role where you will be required to work out of outreach offices. The role therefore involves travel on a daily basis within a defined geographical region. All associated business travel costs are fully reimbursed. This position covers the Yorkshire & Humber region, with specific cover in Hull, Grimsby & Doncaster.
