KS1 Teacher Hull - ASAP
Would you like to work in a rewarding academy in Hull? Well this may be the job for you.

The Job
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated Year 2 teacher with excellent classroom management skills. The position is to start as soon as possible up until July with the possibility of going permanent.

The successful candidate will;
Have experience working within KS2
Be able to use their creativity to engage and inspire children
Have consistently high expectations
Be flexible and committed to high standards of learning and teaching for all children
Have an excellent understanding of assessment for learning and its use to raise standards to improve pupil progress
Have a good command of ICT
Have the ability to contribute to the warm, caring ethos of the school and to build positive relations with children, colleagues, parents and governors

We can offer:
A friendly and supportive team of colleagues.
Excellent facilities and a wonderful outdoor environment
An inclusive environment where every child really does matter
A commitment to high quality professional development.
Parents and governors who very much support the work of the school.

The School
The Academy is smaller than average, formed in January 2011 from the amalgamation of an infants school and juniors. They are a small friendly Community school with a team of committed and experienced staff who work hard to provide every child with the best in education.

Although the most recent ofsted said requires improvement, the head teacher and governing body have brought a clear vision for improvement to the school and have laid the foundations for moving it forward.

The Child
Behaviour in lessons is good because pupils now enjoy their lessons, especially the range of interesting things they are doing as part of their topic-based learning. This is important in helping pupils to improve their performance, and they are starting to see their positive attitudes bringing rewards in terms of faster progress.
