Careers in Critical Care Event
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham
Saturday 17 January from 10.30am – 2.30pm
We are searching for ambitious acute nurses for an exciting opportunity based in our Critical Care Units.
Offering a unique career programme that will allow nurses to rotate between the Critical Care Units at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Our hospitals are specialist regional burns, cardiac, major trauma, transplant and cancer centres with global reputations for excellence, thanks to our dynamic teams who care for thousands of critically ill children, young people and adults every year.
To continue doing what we do so well, and to further strengthen our teams, we are looking for ambitious registered acute nurses who are keen to gain significant experience in both adult and paediatric care.
Eight permanent roles are available on a two-year rotation, with one year spent in each unit. At the end of the programme you’ll then be able to choose which hospital you’d like to work in permanently.
Our nurses put children, young people, adults and families at the heart of all
they do, and in return we will support you with specialist training, development opportunities and health and well-being support, so that you can be the best in your role and advance your career.
At the open day will provide an opportunity for nurses to meet Matron/ Sisters/ Professional Development Nurses and nursing peers.
So, if you want to further your career, come and talk to the teams on Saturday 17 January at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in Edgbaston.
