Learning Support Assistants for students with MLD

The Job

The specialist SEN Team at Randstad Education are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work with learners with Moderate Learning Difficulties.

The ideal candidate will already have experience working within a similar environment, and preferably hold a qualification, although this isn't essential.


The School

The school is a state special school based in Loughborough which accommodates for boys and girls aged from 11 to 19. The school supports learners with Moderate Learning Difficulties and those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The main aim of the school is to encourage all individuals to achieve their potential. The school is proud to offer an environment where students continue to achieve and flourish in a supportive and friendly environment.

Every member of staff must recognise that every child is different and be able to diversify their approach to support each learner to reach their full potential.

The Child

The students will in most cases have individual education plans and successful applicant will ensure they are creative, proactive and flexible with there supporting style.
