Treating every student as an individual, we are renowned for excellent pastoral care, which promotes excellent achievement for all. This was endorsed by our 'Good' Ofsted judgement in October 2013. The 'Good' Judgement, across all four categories, described teaching as 'good' and 'outstanding' which promotes "effective learning and positive relationships". (Ofsted). In addition our commitment to inclusion enables all students to achieve their full potential. "The school provides very good care and support for all students." (Ofsted)

In 2013 we achieved our best ever results at A2 with 53% of students gaining A*- B grades and 99% of our students achieved 5A*-G grades at GCSE. Our independent information, advice and guidance is well planned and responsive to individual needs, resulting in celebrations all round on A-level and GCSE result days.
