Our client is looking for a talented Salesforce.com Developer to build unique, external customer based solutions for extending the value of Salesforce.com CRM applications.

As Salesforce Developer your main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform technical evaluations, solution and design approaches to client solution needs
  • Lead and / or contribute to the technical side of projects, manage external customer relationships with the business and create solutions to meet business challenges
  • Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements
  • Write technical approach and design documentation
  • Develop, Test & Release Salesforce.com / Force.com components and products

Essential IT and Development skills must include:

  • Strong technical design skills
  • Proven ability to design and optimise business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Integration of Salesforce.com with other third party solutions
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems: CRM, SFA, and ERP
  • Experience with enterprise integration, extract, transformation and load tools
  • Experience of the Salesforce.com platform and the Force.com developer toolkit (i.e. Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, and Web Services & Metadata APIs)
  • Deployments of enterprise software systems using industry standard environments including: JAVA EE, ASP.NET, VB .NET
  • Technical skills: JSP / ASP, Java, HTML / XSLT / XML Agile (SCRUM) development methodologies
  • Fundamental understanding of Web Services, Service Oriented Design Principles (SOA) and Object Oriented Development Skills
  • Salesforce.com Developer certification would be advantageous

Other skills should include:

  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable estimating skills
  • Understands methodology and best practices
  • Self-motivated and able to plan and manage tasks
  • Proven ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive things to completion
