Based in Bexhill-On-Sea on the South Coast with over 1500 staff at our HQ we are currently seeking a Learning Developement Partner to join the team on a full time, perminant basis.

PURPOSE

To provide learning and development solutions to a defined client group(s) in the business. - Insurance Services

Produce an annual People Development plan with the HRBP, agreed by the Business Leader, for each business area in assigned client group.

Support the delivery of the Talent Review action plans.

Work in partnership with the HR Business Partner and Business Leaders to design and deliver appropriate L and D solutions to address agreed business challenges that will ensure that the Managers and Colleagues are:

  1. Operationally competent to fulfil their roles
  2. Able to support our business growth plans

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Deliverables:

  • Own the development and delivery of the Annual People Development Plan for each client area.
  • Deliver the development actions identified from the business Talent Reviews.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to include soft skills, behavioural and personal development.
  • Design and specify E-learning and online solutions.
  • Develop and manage a company mentoring scheme.
  • Provide coaching and development experiences Dependent on needs identified.
  • Manage specific projects for delivery to assigned client groups and/or the whole business.
  • Produce MI and businesses cases to support key L and D initiatives.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with HRBPs' and Business Managers.
  • Develop and deliver the company Management Development Programmes according to demand.
  • Support business change and growth using organizational development tools and skills.
  • Provide coaching to talented leaders.
  • Manage an effective Mentoring Programme to support the people plan for the assigned client group.
  • Ensure effective diagnosis of needs, and effective evaluation of development delivered is in place. (To Kirkpatrick level 2 for all learning interventions and to level 4 for selected ones).

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience of delivering L & D in a General Insurance organisation - preferable within claims, underwriting and Actuary areas
  • Relevant experience of delivering people development solutions across all levels in an organisation
  • Maintained and developed knowledge of up-to-date and cutting edge learning solutions and technologies.
  • PC literate including Microsoft Office; Word, Power-point, Outlook, Excel.
  • Accredited coach desirable.
  • Understanding of the commercial drivers of business.
  • Committed to continued personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CiTP qualified
  • NLP/MBTI/Insights desirable
