H&G Recruitment are looking for professional HGV Class 1 C+E drivers to work on a varied contract based in Thurrock for a temp to perm opportunity with the company. This would suit a driver with excellent communication skills and has plenty of experience working for different clients with a general haulage background. The clients completes collection & delivery work, trunking and shunting with single & double deckers. Training will be offered. A times other sites in the area run by the client require support so flexibility is key. Shifts predominetly Monday to Friday with some weekend working on days or nights. Permanent positions will be offered to those who successfully complete the probation period.
The client offers:
• Full time HGV driving work with overtime available
• Flexible shifts to suit you
• Estimated earnings £26,000k - £30,000k per annum

You must have:
• Full HGV C+E Class 1 licence held for at least one year
• Driven a HGV lorry in the last 90 days
• Digital tacho card
• A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
• Good understanding of the working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network and the London Lorry Scheme
• Flexible approach to work
• Customer focused attitude
• Superb presentation standards
• A willingness to learn
