Here we go again Yes it's us here at SmithCorp - advertising the role of a trainee recruitment consultant.
You may have scrolled through the job boards and seen plenty of our ads and you may be wondering why are they advertising again?

The answer is because we will never stop looking for good people to join our business.

We here at SmithCorp have gone from a GBP0 to a GBP20 million annual turnover in just 9 years. Along with this great achievement we have also been on the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track for three consecutive years. We are a company that is completely organically grown; we believe in promoting from within.

We look for people who are prepared to dedicate time and effort into their career. Recruitment is a sales role; you will be selling your specialist service to clients and therefore you must be passionate about the sales industry and have the ability to communicate effectively. This role can be very challenging and does not come without hard work; therefore your reasons for wanting to work in sales must be very clear from the offset.

This may be a complete career change for you and you may not have the right skill set right now, but with our very own training academy we will assist you in developing your skills with the guarantee of a successful career. With this in mind you must have the willingness to learn and approach everything with a positive and professional manner.

SmithCorp was founded in 2004 as a single recruitment brand called jjFOX; we have now grown, now encompassing four recruitment brands, two property offices, an investment arm and a charitable trust. We are now in our 10th year and there is certainly no holding us back All we need now is some new blood to join our young and ambitious company.

This is certainly a career where you can earn a good amount of money if you're willing to put the hours in. Realistically you will earn between GBP25-30K in your first year, GBP35-45K in year 2 and in your third year you should be pushing GBP60K+. These are realistic figures but do not come without hard work and dedication. Alongside the great money that can be earned, we offer great incentives such as monthly lunch clubs and trips abroad which include a skiing trip, a 5* summer trip and a December trip to Las Vegas.

As stated throughout this ad working in recruitment does require you to work hard and this does mean that you will have to put the hours in. This is by no means a 9-5 job. In reality you will be working 12 hours a day but the hard work does pay off! Ask any of our consultants, managers and directors.
