About the role
Improvements run clearly defined activities to put services into the state in which it is meant to be operating. This includes running service improvement plan initiatives, monitoring and event alert (both reactive and preferably proactive) and Automation. Self healing is a key principle in addition to remediating the problems already found within the estate.
Skills required:
Essential:
Experience in Solaris 10 OS
Experience in Solaris 10 Zoning
Solaris 10 build and tuning
Experience in Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 & 6
Veritas Clustering 5.1
All components of the Veritas Foundation Suite
Oracle Sparc hardware
Desirable:
Knowledge of SAN & NAS and Host connectivity to Solaris and RHEL
Shell & Perl Scripting
Basic System Security Red Hat Linux RHCSA certified
olaris 8 and 9
RHEL 4
Solaris 10 OCA or OCP certified
Veritas Foundation Suite- FSE-035 certified
