Our client, a specialist within haulage and courier services, are seeking a Sales Director to join their expanding team in Nottingham.

The main aim of this role is to run the sales function of the company and fully focus on the growth of the business.

Salary:  £25,000 basic per annum,

OTE £35 – 40k + company car, mobile and laptop

As a Sales Director you will be responsible for driving the business forward and generating growth within the sales department. You will understand the challenges in the marketplace and showcase your solutions to customers to drive the business forward. You will be responsible for profit and loss and providing a clear direction to your department using your excellent communication, motivation, presentation, negation and people skills.

The ideal candidate will be:

• To create and manage a small sales team

• Excellent sales and negotiation skills

• To be an integral cog in the running and growth of the company

• Knowledge of the haulage industry and the ability to achieve turnover growth within 3 months

• The desire to manage their own workload

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Good co-operator and persuader to convince others of your visions

• Great planning and organisation skills

Formal qualifications in sales or professional bodies, accounts / finance knowledge will be advantageous.
