We are urgently recruiting for an experienced a School Business Manager for a school based in Newham area, London. The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a day to day smooth running of the school by helping the head teacher in dealing with the leadership, managerial and administrative duties that confront them.
• Good working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, policies and legislation relating to school management
• Good working knowledge of safeguarding issues and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
• Good written, numerical and ICT skills to provide a high quality support service
• Understanding of DBS checks and reports
• Financial experience in a school; able to understand a wide variety of financial information and an understanding of basic financial accounting controls and procedures, including reporting trail balance, balance sheet and income statement.

This is a temporary position starting in January and finishing in July.
