Our Birmingham based client specialise in the manufacture of highest quality bedroom and door furniture for a range of customer applications throughout the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth for 2015, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Alphacam Technician to complement their established and professional team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a "3 axis" machining department that will include programming on Anderson "3 axis" CNC routers using Alphacam, with a working knowledge of Fanuc controllers proving distinctly advantageous.
You will implement Alphacam into a fast moving manufacturing environment programming from scratch to generate NC machine programmes over a wide range of products, and will also be responsible for the testing of samples to ensure quality standards are achieved and be involved in the design and selection of consumable tools.

With essential experience of working with Alphacam and previous experience of working in a shop floor environment, previous furniture industry knowledge with Alpha Door / CDM experience will prove distinctly advantageous.
