A leading academic support company are currently looking for talented academic individuals to join their expanding Quality team. For this role you should demonstrate a strong academic understanding of not only what makes a great academic piece of work but also a good comprehension of the academic process as a whole.

The role itself is incredibly varied and refreshingly different. Successful applicants will spend the majority of their time performing rigorous and in depth quality assessment checks on academic work. As such, applicants should have a high attention to detail (particularly in spelling and grammar) and an ability to provide impartial, constructive criticism. You should be able to demonstrate skills in critiquing academic work, and in problem solving and resolution.

Responsibilities:

- Ensuring the quality of the work has met their high standards via their quality assessment process.
- Communicate via the telephone and message system with researchers and deal with any issues that may arise.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, via telephone and message system, in order to ensure the smooth running of their orders.
- Negotiating and dealing with customer amendment requests.
- Maintain the database on a daily basis i.e. general house-keeping (making sure all work is sent to their customers, messages are answered and all amendments have been passed to researchers).

Skills and Experience:

- Masters or Postgraduate Degree classification is essential, with a strong academic aptitude.
- The ability to critically evaluate academic work, training is provided however a strong academic background will assist considerably.
- Excellent telephone manner, with a positive problem solving outlook.
- Previous experience within education or customer services will be advantageous.

Working Hours
The position is 40 hours per week with overtime available during peak seasons.
The office is open Monday to Sunday.
