The School, the Child?

We are proud to support a diverse number of school and alternative provisions across Cardiff. These can range in size, catchment area and ethos. Within these educational environments our support staff help to provide crucial and necessary guidance to students who are disaffected and disengaged within the educational system. This role is to support an SEN Child within the Key Stage 1. Due to the needs of the child we are asking that only those with experience working within SEN apply. We understand that every student and every centre is different and as a result we carefully match our staff with the right centre and the right student.

The Job?

We are looking for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for a long term assignment that can?

Have relevant qualifications (NVQ2/NVQ3 in Learning Support or Level 3 Teaching Assistant)
Strong ICT, Numeracy and Literacy skills
Be available three or more days a week
Will develop professional relationships with students and staff
Be able to liaise with outside agencies
Have effective behaviour management and be calm under pressure
