Design Engineer - Scaffolding - Great Yarmouth Job

Scaffold Design Engineer needed for a permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Great Yarmouth.

Salary: Up to GBP45,000 plus car allowance and benefits (some flexibility for the right candidates)

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Experience in the design of scaffolding structures.
- HNC, HND or Degree in civil, mechanical or structural engineering.
- Experience of AutoCAD and structural design software.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Design of all types industrial scaffolding projects, mainly in the petrochemical and energy industries, both onshore and offshore.
- Creation of detailed engineering calculations using structural analysis software where required.
- Frequent travel to operational sites throughout the UK for surveys and meetings.
- Production of drawings using the latest AutoCAD software.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- A minimum of 4 years experience in the design of scaffolding structures.
- Problem solve, organise, prioritise and deliver within a high pressure environment.
- Commitment, drive and the ability to work on one's own initiative.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- A working knowledge of structural analysis software would be a distinct advantage.
