We are an expanding software house based in central Bristol. Our client base includes some of the UK's most well-known blue chip companies, including leading providers in the investment and banking sector.
With many years of experience developing innovative solutions, an impressive portfolio of products, and an excellent track record in delivery and customer care, we are seeking and experienced software test and support technician to join our talented team.
The Role
Support the test activity of the development team
-
Assisting with infrastructure testing and configuration
-
Undertake hands-on testing of applications developed internally and externally
-
Ensure all testing processes and procedures are followed and accurate and up to date records are kept at all times

In conjunction with the Development team, ensure the quality of the product is fit for purpose and is consistent

Identify and document defects and progress through to resolution in a timely manner

Carry out customer support and maintenance including on-call support

General PC support assistance
Requirements
- Prior experience of working in a software product or technical consultancy environment

Manual, functional software testing skills
-
Ability to be able to write test cases and test scripts

Well organised and self-disciplined

Good problem solving ability
