Senior Support Worker

You value independence. You value dignity. You value compassion and choice. You’re going to be invaluable to our client.

Our client believes that providing care and support to change lives is a life changing vocation. They’re here to transform futures for vulnerable people and they want you there working with them.

The people they support are at the heart of all they do and they are one of the leading organisations in person centred approaches and person centred thinking.

All of their Senior Support Workers receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. They recognise the commitment and dedication shown by their staff and celebrate successes, both large and small, running staff member of the month schemes as well as annual national awards.

Overseeing other Support Workers, their Senior Support Workers implement care plans for individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs. You’ll operate both in residential and community settings to assist the people they support, so you can expect total involvement in everything they do.

To join them as a Senior Support Worker, you’ll need at least Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent qualification) backed by sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs. If you’re familiar with leading a team, so much the better, but it’s your commitment to care and your passion for making a difference that will count most. In return, they offer all the training, benefits and options for career development you would expect from the number one in their field.

You know they’re really going to value your contribution every day. Let’s take the next step together with our client. It starts with your application.

They encourage all interested applicants to apply promptly as they review all applications & CVs received on a daily basis. The majority of their adverts close 2 weeks after posting, however where they receive a large number of suitable applications they may close the advert early.

Please register online with your CV and covering letter.

Once you have registered your interest for this position you will be redirected to our client's website to complete their online application form.

Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people they support. All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check for Regulated Activity which will include a check against both the Barred adult and children lists.

They are an equal opportunities employer.
