Green Star Media have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Bramley, near Guildford, Surrey. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £16,000 – £19,000 per annum with 25 days holiday, plus plenty of scope for rapid career progression.

We are Green Star Media, a well-established online publisher based near Guildford, Surrey. Focused on providing the best sports coaching service available, we have a highly successful range of memberships, subscription publications, books and DVDs.
We are a busy, fast paced company and require a top-flight Customer Service Representative to join us, to handle customer queries and orders with courtesy and good humour. This is a varied and busy role, so there are lots of things that need doing.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
- Responding to customer phone and email queries.
- Processing orders by phone, post and email.
- Sending customers products by post and by email.
- Updating our customer database.
- Informing suppliers of new orders.
- Preparing refunds and royalty payments.
- Sending our weekly subscriptions via email.
- Learning about new products coming online for sale.
Customer Service Representative Requirements
- Friendly individual, comfortable handling customer queries by phone and email.
- Polite and flexible with a commitment to seeing issues through to a satisfactory outcome.
- Well organised and a good timekeeper.
- Likely to have strong computer skills, including using Excel, Outlook and databases, and a good knowledge of the internet.
- “Will-do” attitude – at ease working with colleagues and on own.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and confident, and keen to progress in your chosen career.
Previous experience for the role is an advantage but not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to show initiative, persistence, loyalty and ambition, and have a commitment to the job to match our commitment to them.
