My client a leading bank are looking to recruit a Project Manager (Payments Transactional Services, SWIFT, Legacy Platform, change, agile, 3rd parties, banking, finance,Programme/Project Management/Development Methodologies ) - GBP56k-GBP65k plus excellent benefits and bonus - City, London
The successful Project Manager (Payments Transactional Services, SWIFT, change, agile, banking, finance, Programme/Project Management/Development Methodologies) will have the following knowledge:
- Proven leadership, communication and influencing skills.
- Proven experience of ongoing development for a large scale transactional organisation.
- Must have deep understanding of the design, operational principles and key processes for the Platform
- Experience of improving speed to market through the rationalisation and parameterisation of Legacy platforms
- Experience of Industry standards relating to services and solutions and delivery of change
- Demonstrable understanding of associated platforms and the underlying technology and business domain.
- Track record of exerting significant influence to business and technology partners for large/complex projects and programmes in a financial services organisation.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques used for development and testing.
- Demonstrable experience of working with internal, third party and India based resources and vendors.
- The ability to quickly form productive relationships with technology and business stakeholders.
- Highly capable influencing, communication and presentation skills; able to explain and present simple to complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to explain the risks involved in the solution options available, from a business and technology perspective.
- Strong understanding of Programme/Project Management/Development Methodologies
- Ability to work across the organisation.
- Ability to work with third parties and a solid understanding of commercial and contractual obligations.
- Externally recognised as a leading technology specialist in managing and delivery change to platforms
- Should have proven experience of delivery using Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of emerging technology trends evidenced by development of creative solutions and approaches that improve time to market and agility and robustness of technology solution
