Due to our continued success we now have an opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team at our head offices based in Maidenhead.
HR Advisor Role:
The HR Advisor / Officer will be responsible for monitoring long term sick cases, obtaining and reviewing medical information to support these cases, advising line managers and coordinating review meetings. It will be necessary to attend capability meetings for more complex cases in order to support the line managers and ensure a satisfactory outcome.
In addition, the HR Advisor / Officer will manage a range of employee relation calls and queries, advising on disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, personnel policies and procedures, system queries and staff development advice, ensuring legislative requirements are met.
The Ideal HR Advisor will have:
You will need a flexible approach to your work, as this role will include Store and Distribution Centre visits and occasional overnight stays. You will need excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, a professional and confident manner and sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
This busy role requires someone with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, who has the ability to juggle a busy workload while maintaining accuracy, even when under pressure. You will need strong administration skills, a good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel, ER and management experience. Previous HR systems experience would be an advantage as we provide some HR system support to the stores.
This is a great opportunity to join our busy HR team as an HR Advisor / Officer to provide advice and support to our Stores and Head Office teams in respect of all Employee Relations queries. The HR Advisor / Officer will deliver a full spectrum of generalist personnel advice across the company. Responsible for managing and developing a small team of Personnel Administrators whose roles involve maintaining store staff records, dealing with starter paperwork and referencing and communicating with store managers regarding any issues.
